We are seeking a highly motivated Private Equity Intern, from Harvard College, with strong design instincts and the ability to translate financial and strategic concepts into compelling visual presentations.
Position Overview
The Private Equity Intern will work directly with leadership to support investor communications, capital raising efforts, and strategic outreach. The intern will design high-quality pitch decks, investor presentations, and branded templates that meet institutional standards.
This role is ideal for someone who is visually creative, detail-oriented, and interested in the intersection of design, investment strategy, and communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop presentation templates for investor relations, investment memos, fundraising updates, and strategy briefings.
- Create pitch decks for new investments, capital raises, and organizational initiatives.
- Use PowerPoint, Google Slides, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite to design polished, professional materials.
- Convert complex financial/strategic concepts into clear, compelling visuals.
- Assist with maintaining brand consistency and visual standards.
- Prepare fact sheets, one-pagers, data visuals, and investor collateral.
- Organize and maintain a structured template library for internal use.
What You Will Learn
This internship provides a hands-on education in real-world investor relations. Interns will gain experience in:
- How to structure a professional-grade pitch deck from concept to completion.
- Visual storytelling for investment audiences (PE/VC, real estate, capital markets).
- Understanding key components of investment materials (market analysis, metrics, comps, returns).
- Branding and layout principles used in top-tier investor communications.
- How capital raising works, including investor outreach and preparation.
- Working directly with executive leadership on live investment initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in PowerPoint or Google Slides; familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
- Excellent visual design instincts and attention to detail.
- Organized, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Interest in investment strategy, real estate, or private equity is a plus.
