The Role
We’re seeking a motivated Inside Sales / Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. As an SDR, you’ll be the first point of contact with prospective clients. Your work will directly fuel the pipeline for our Account Executives and play a vital role in shaping the growth of Quartz IP.
Success in this position comes from thoughtful, targeted engagement—not mass outreach.
You’ll combine technology-driven research with thoughtful outreach to connect with the right firms, the right people, at the right time. You’ll be working closely with Marketing on ICP definition, scripts, and outreach playbooks, and will operate directly from the inbox—crafting personalized messages that resonate.
Responsibilities
- Source leads through CRM, Apollo and LinkedIn Navigator.
- Partner with research agents to enrich and validate lead data.
- Research target accounts and decision makers to ensure high-quality outreach.
- Phone outreach and the drafting / sending of personalized email directly from CRM.
- Qualify and score leads before hand-off to Account Executives.
- Log activities and maintain accurate records in the CRM.
- Collaborate with Marketing to refine ICPs, messaging, and playbooks.
- Provide regular feedback from the field to improve campaigns and collateral.
- Report on outreach volume, engagement, and conversions.
- Coordinate team selling efforts for active sales opportunities
Requirements
- 3-4 years in a quota driven sales, business development, or client-facing role (internships included).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- US Based Only and Authorized to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship.
- Comfort with SaaS tools (CRM, outreach platforms, LinkedIn Navigator).
- Ability to research and synthesize information quickly.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with intellectual property, legal tech, or SaaS sales.
- Prior experience using Apollo, LinkedIn Navigator, or n8n.
- Exposure to sales methodologies like MEDDIC, BANT, or SPIN.
