This individual will identify and design efficient computer programs and cost-effective solutions through research and evaluation of alternatives. Also, they will analyze information system problems and develop solutions to those problems, well providing support and assistance to the Application Development team and other business units across Quartz.

  • Starting salary range based upon skills and experience: $77,200 - $96,500 plus robust benefits package
Responsibilities
  • Work with business and IT teams to design and deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Lead feasibility studies for new projects, including cost, time, and resource planning
  • Design and develop cloud-native applications using .Net, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus.
  • Ensure seamless integration across on-premises, third-party, and cloud applications
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Enterprise Cloud, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions)
  • Regularly integrate static analysis (SAST), dynamic analysis (DAST), and dependency scanning into CI/CD pipelines using advanced security tools
  • Implement automated testing (unit, integration, security) to deliver reliable software
  • Develop secure applications by following best practices (OWASP, NIST) and integrating security early in development
  • Design and implement identity management solutions using Azure AD, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Zero-Trust Principles
  • Ensure secure data protection and encryption measures, and implement secure API authentication using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and JWT
  • Improve system monitoring and performance with modern logging and observability tools
  • Collaborate in Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban) to ensure timely delivery of high-value software
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in programming and systems analysis,
  • OR Associate's degree with 7 years of programming and systems analysis,
  • OR High School equivalency with 8 years of programming and systems analysis
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, focusing on CI/CD, GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC)/GitLab/GitHub, Secure SDLC, and Cloud-Native Architectures
  • Expertise in .Net, Azure, automation, and DevSecOps to build and modernize enterprise applications with a secure, scalable, and cloud-first approach
  • Demonstrated expertise in two or more of the following: Application Development, C#, ASP.Net, HTML, XML, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL, Multi-tier Development, Object Oriented Design, CSS.SOAP/REST API's, API Security, Web Services, Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Visualforce, LWC, Salesforce.com API's, MuleSoft CloudHub, ESB, RAML, Mule API's, or Mule Connectors
