Support Staff - Bar Back / Food Runner

Quarter French is looking for hardworking, hospitality-minded Support Staff to join our team. This role is designed for someone who enjoys being an essential part of the flow of a restaurant — supporting our servers, bartenders, hosts, and kitchen team to make sure service runs smoothly from start to finish.

We are hiring positions for Server Assistants, Food Runners, and Barbacks. We are looking for people who are adaptable, attentive, and take pride in the details that make a great dining experience possible.

What You'll Do

• Assist servers with running food, clearing and resetting tables, and maintaining a clean and organized dining room
• Run food from the kitchen to the dining room quickly and accurately
• Support bartenders by stocking glassware, ice, beer, wine, mixers, and other bar necessities
• Keep service stations, the bar, and other work areas clean, organized, and properly stocked
• Assist with opening and closing side work
• Help maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the restaurant throughout service
• Communicate with servers, bartenders, hosts, and kitchen staff to keep service moving efficiently
• Anticipate the needs of the team rather than waiting to be asked
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and hospitality with both guests and fellow team members
• Jump in wherever needed — we believe strong support staff are an important part of creating a great restaurant experience

What We're Looking For

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
• A strong sense of urgency and the ability to move efficiently during busy service
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Detail-oriented and naturally organized
• Able to take direction while also recognizing what needs to be done without being asked
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
• Professional appearance and a genuine interest in hospitality
• Someone who takes pride in being part of a team and understands that great service is a group effort

The best person for this role is someone who likes being in the middle of the action. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room — you need to be observant, dependable, quick on your feet, and willing to step in wherever you're needed.

Schedule

We are currently hiring both full-time and part-time team members for both AM and/or PM availability. Scheduling flexibility is appreciated, though we strive to build schedules that support a healthy work-life balance whenever possible.

In this position, you have the opportunity to have a competitive hourly rate plus great tips. Pay rates and ranges listed are estimated averages including tips and may fluctuate with business levels. Pay rates and ranges are not guaranteed and tips are given at the sole discretion of our guests.
