Support – Front of House (Host/Runner/Busser)
Quarry Taphouse
About Us
Quarry Taphouse is a one-of-a-kind restaurant and bar with a “blue-collar bougie” vibe and our signature Rock Range activity (think axe throwing, but with rocks). We’re a fun, fast-paced spot where guests come to eat, drink, and have a great time.
The Role
We’re looking for upbeat, reliable Support Team Members to help with hosting, running food, bussing tables, and keeping the vibe fun for our guests. This is a great entry-level job for high school students (minimum age 14) or anyone looking to get into the restaurant world. No experience required—we’ll train you!
What You’ll Do
- Greet and seat guests with a smile
- Run food and drinks to tables quickly and accurately
- Clear and reset tables to keep the dining room moving
- Jump in wherever needed to support the team
- Help keep our Rock Range area looking good (yes, sometimes that means moving rocks—don’t worry, we’ll make it fun)
What We’re Looking For
- Positive, outgoing personality
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
- Dependable and punctual (your teammates count on you)
- Comfortable on your feet for a shift and able to lift up to 30 lbs
- No experience required—just bring the right attitude!
- Preference is given to candidates 16 or older, however 14-15 year olds may also apply (just limited in hours able to work by law)
Why Join Us
- Competitive hourly pay tips
- Flexible schedules that work around school and activities
- Fun, high-energy work environment (seriously, where else do people throw rocks for fun?)
- Opportunities to grow—many of our staff move into serving, bartending, or kitchen roles
