QuantumScape is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Business Analyst to support and enhance our SAP S/4HANA. This on-site role demands a strong blend of functional expertise and technical acumen, with deep knowledge of core SAP modules. As a strategic partner to both business and IT teams, you will drive process improvements, system optimizations, and user adoption across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
SAP S/4HANA
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP S/4HANA modules, including FI/CO, EAM, EWM, MM, PP, SD, and other modules as required.
- Translate business requirements into clear, actionable functional and technical specifications.
- Configure and maintain SAP modules to align with best practice business processes and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and provide end-to-end functional solutions.
- Prepare detailed functional specifications and support the development of custom reports, workflows, and integrations.
- Collaborate with developers and integration teams to implement enhancements and resolve system issues.
- Lead and coordinate testing efforts, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure compliance with company policies, data security standards, and SAP best practices.
- Create training materials, deliver user workshops, and provide ongoing support.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree & 10 years (or Master’s degree & 8 years) of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors in both functional and technical roles.
- Strong understanding of business processes across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and HR.
- Proficiency with SAP Fiori, ABAP debugging, and integration tools (e.g., SAP CPI, IDoc, EDI mappings).
- Experience ensuring SOX compliance.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently on-site and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Preferred
- MS in Computer Science or Information Systems or related field.
- SAP certifications in S/4HANA and/or SuccessFactors.
- Experience in a high-growth, technology-driven organization.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.

ONSITE: This position requires you to work onsite 5 days per week to meet the minimum essential duties and requirements of this position. As an on-site R&D and manufacturing operations organization, in-person face to face interaction is essential to building authentic relationships, trust, teamwork, and collaboration.
Compensation & Benefits: Salary range for this role is $143,200 - $218,400, and a salary will be determined by the candidate's experience and educational background. QuantumScape also offers an annual bonus and a generous RSU/Equity package as part of its compensation plan. In addition, we do offer a tremendous benefits plan including employee paid health care, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), and other exciting perks.
