Middleware Consultant

Title: Middleware SRE with Strong experience in Scripting and Automation

Location: Irving, Tx (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Job Type: Fulltime role

Responsibilities:

• Identify work which is TOIL and make effort to reduce it.
• Automate manual activities, repetitive processes, reporting, controls, etc., configure and tune them.
• Continuously improve systems resiliency, reliability, and business cost - through design and development of solutions and streamlined processes.
• Mitigate risk by analyzing the root cause of production issues, impacts to business, and required corrective actions.

Qualifications:

• Understanding of SRE principles, Production Support Operations, DevOps, CI/CD, Scripting.
• Knowledge of Messaging Technologies (Confluent Kafka/Solace/WebSphere MQ/Tibco Products) Nastel/AppDynamics/Splunk will be additional value.
• Extensive experience working with and customizing automation scripts – Python/Ansible are currently used.
• Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
• You should be technically familiar with IBM MQ, Solace, Abinitio, and Tibco products.
