Bill Rate: $120,000-$140,000

Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Pega applications, with a strong emphasis on case management and workflow orchestration
- Actively contribute to development (rules, flows, integrations, UI, decisioning) as a hands-on lead
- Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable Pega designs
- Ensure solutions align with Pega Guardrails, performance standards, and enterprise architecture guidelines
- Design and implement end-to-end case lifecycles, including stages, steps, SLAs, approvals, and escalations
- Design and implement integrations using REST and SOAP services, connectors, and Pega Integration Patterns
- Collaborate with downstream and upstream system teams to define interface contracts
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers through code reviews and hands-on guidance
- Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and defect resolution
- Support deployment activities and production troubleshooting when needed
Requirements:
- 8 years of IT experience
- 5 years of Pega platform experience, with significant hands-on development and engineering
- Strong expertise in Pega Case Management and complex case management (Jira/Confluence a plus)
- Proven experience with Pega system integrations (REST/SOAP, services, connectors)
- Solid understanding of the Pega rules engine, flow rules, decision tables, data pages, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Experience leading or mentoring development teams
Desired skills:
- Pega certifications such as CSSA and/or CLSA
- Experience with Pega Infinity (latest versions preferred)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for Pega
- Knowledge of cloud and cloud migration experience
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
