Job Description:
Required Skills
- 10 years of software engineering experience with 3 years as a Technical Lead, Team Lead, or Solution Architect.
- Strong expertise in Java (17/21), Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservices, and REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience designing scalable, high-volume distributed systems with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and security.
- Strong system design and architecture skills with experience leading technical design discussions and mentoring engineering teams.
Mandatory Domain Experience
Candidates must have hands-on experience in one or more of the following:
- Risk Management
- Fraud Detection & Prevention
- Payment Processing
- Merchant Onboarding
- FinTech / Financial Services
Experience with KYC/KYB, transaction risk, fraud scoring, payment authorization, decision engines, or chargebacks is highly preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Agentic AI, AI agents, LLMs, or GenAI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI APIs, Vertex AI, or similar technologies.
- Experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications or engineering workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and development of scalable Java-based microservices.
- Drive technical design, architecture decisions, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor engineering teams and provide hands-on technical leadership.
- Collaborate with Product, Data Science, Security, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, cloud-native financial solutions.
