We design, develop, manufacture and deliver eVTOL Unmanned Aircraft Systems UAS and an ecosystem of related products and services. Our business directly addresses the Defense and Security markets in North America, Asia Pacific and Latin America. We currently have an opening for Quality Technician II. This position will report to the Manager of Quality Control.
Quality Technician II is responsible for performing inspections and supporting MRB and RMA activities to ensure products meet internal quality standards and customer requirements. This position supports the quality assurance team by documenting inspection results, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in the control and disposition of nonconforming materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain MRB (Material Review Board) activities, including dispositioning, handling, labeling, and tracking of nonconforming materials.
- Perform incoming and outgoing RMA inspections, verifying product condition, documentation accuracy, and compliance with applicable specifications.
- Conduct routine visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure they meet established quality requirements.
- Use calibrated measuring tools and test equipment to collect and record inspection data accurately.
- Document inspection results, nonconformities, and rework details in accordance with company quality procedures.
- Assist in segregating, tagging, and organizing nonconforming materials in MRB areas to ensure proper disposition and traceability.
- Maintain and update inspection records, logs, and related documentation in quality systems or databases.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure correct handling and disposition of MRB and RMA materials.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of inspection areas, MRB storage, and related workspaces.
- Perform other quality support duties as assigned by the Quality Manager and/or Quality Lead.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a technical or related field is a plus.
- 1 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance environment preferred.
- Basic knowledge of quality control principles, inspection methods, and measurement tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
- Must be able to document and report all identified non-conformances accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with AS9100 standards and Lean/Six Sigma principles is a plus.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
