You'll help individuals live more independently, reach their personal goals, and participate in their homes and communities. No two days are exactly the same!
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living, personal care, meals, shopping, and community activities
- Encourage independence, choice, and self-advocacy
- Build positive relationships and provide companionship
- Assist with medication administration after required training
- Complete basic documentation and maintain a safe, comfortable environment
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and registration
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience and acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with autism or intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Medication Administration training
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Compassion and strong companionship skills
