Duties
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity and ensure perimeter security.
- Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify potential security breaches or safety hazards.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, including medical incidents, conflicts, or security threats.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting incidents accurately.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incident reports, and security breaches for record-keeping and analysis.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary to resolve incidents or conduct investigations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Certifications in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and conflict management are preferred.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems such as CCTV and other security technology is essential.
- Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques and security protocols.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while responding swiftly to emergencies or conflicts.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in monitoring environments.
- Physical fitness to perform patrols, stand for extended periods, and respond quickly when needed.
