Two Shifts available
- 1st: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday
- 2nd: 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM, Monday - Thursday (4 x 10's)
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Receives instructions, prints, and work orders for the job. Plans details of working procedure, tools, and material requirements.
- Perform minor maintenance on equipment.
- Assume responsibility and care of assigned tools and equipment.
- Observe and practice safety procedures and policies.
- Other duties as required.

- Manual and machine TIG/MIG.
- Understanding of the use of measuring devices, such as micrometers, calipers, tapes, etc.
- Qualified to read blueprints.
- Fabricates equipment by cutting, burning, and welding various metals.
- Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded.
- Subject completed welding tasks to the appropriate inspections.
- Strong understanding of TIG/MIG welding procedures & processes.
- Must have experience working with steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and AWS welding symbols.
- Ability to perform welds that pass a visual inspection and destructive test.
- Ability to use measuring tools (tape measures, squares, rules, and dial calipers).
- Basic math skills; must be able to perform conversions and basic calculations.
- Knowledge of welding machines and setup.
- Ability to operate hand/air tools and electric grinders.
Educational/Certification Requirement
- High School diploma or equivalent experience.
- Two-year vocational welding program or equivalent experience.
- 4 years of experience in welding.

- Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing environment.
- Work may require the ability to lift 10-20 pounds infrequently.
- Ability to lift, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, and grasp.
- Prolonged standing and bending intermittently during work hours.
- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- It is subject to frequent interruptions.
- Ability to move arms, hands, and fingers to type.
- Close vision required.
- The worker has protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
- Required to wear personal protective equipment where applicable.
- One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: Fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
- Subject to hazards including electrical current, moving mechanical parts, and exposure to chemicals.
- May involve exposure to a noise hazard area.
- Work may require out-of-town travel depending upon assignment (training and meeting).
