The Production Supervisor leads day-to-day operations within an Advanced Technology Cleaning Center (ATCC), supervising technicians performing ultra-high purity cleaning, coating, inspection, and handling of semiconductor tool chamber parts. This role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient execution of chemical and mechanical cleaning processes to meet customer quality specifications and turnaround time commitments.
This is a hands-on, floor-based leadership role, with the majority of time spent in cleanroom and chemical processing environments.

This role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient execution of chemical and mechanical cleaning processes to meet customer quality specifications and turnaround time commitments.
This is a hands-on, floor-based leadership role, with the majority of time spent in cleanroom and chemical processing environments.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Supervise technicians performing parts cleaning, chemical processing, coating, inspection, and packaging operations.
- Lead daily shift execution to meet turnaround time (TAT), quality, and throughput goals.
- Ensure strict adherence to:
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Work instructions and chemical recipes
- Cleanroom protocols and contamination control standards
- Promote and enforce safety-first culture, including proper PPE usage and safe chemical handling.
- Monitor workflow across process areas (e.g., wet benches, blasting, coating, bake, inspection, packaging).
- Coordinate with planning, quality, engineering, and logistics to ensure:
- On-time processing and delivery
- Correct prioritization of customer orders
- Support and troubleshoot process issues impacting quality, cycle time, or yield.
- Maintain area readiness, organization, and 6S standards.
- Develop, train, and coach technicians on processes, safety, and performance expectations.
- Maintain training records and support skill certification / qualification matrix.
- Lead shift handoffs and communicate priorities, issues, and metrics.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen) focused on:
- Cycle time reduction
- Contamination reduction
- Efficiency and cost improvements

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Strong leadership and team development skills in a process-driven environment
- Working knowledge of:
- Cleanroom operations and contamination control principles
- Chemical processing or wet lab environments
- Ability to read and enforce SOPs and technical work instructions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-mix, quick-turn environment
- Strong communication and escalation skills
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, ERP/MES systems)
- Familiarity with Lean/6S principles preferred
- High School diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3 years of relevant experience in:
- Semiconductor services, parts cleaning, coating, or similar environment
- Chemical processing, cleanroom, or regulated production environment
- 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience preferred
- Majority of time spent on production floor (cleanroom and chemical processing areas)
- Required to wear PPE (gowning, gloves, respirators, etc.)
- Regular exposure to chemicals and wet processing equipment
- Standing for extended periods; ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Repetitive motion and frequent movement between process areas
