The Customer Program Manager IV is responsible for the full lifecycle of order and commercial management for assigned customer programs, including production, NPI, and RMA orders. This role ensures on-time delivery, accurate quoting, and effective communication across internal teams and customers. The position also supports strategic initiatives, inventory programs, and continuous improvement efforts to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

The Customer Program Manager IV is responsible for the full lifecycle of order and commercial management for assigned customer programs, including production, NPI, and RMA orders. This role ensures on-time delivery, accurate quoting, and effective communication across internal teams and customers. The position also supports strategic initiatives, inventory programs, and continuous improvement efforts to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Order Management
- Manage all order types (production, NPI, RMA) to meet on-time delivery (OTD) targets.
- Resolve scheduling and shipping issues in ERP; escalate material or labor shortages as needed.
- Maintain and publish daily production schedules, ensuring alignment between customer need dates and site commitments.
- Negotiate and manage customer drop-in and pull-in requests, balancing production capacity.
- Ensure timely updates to customer need dates while protecting planning “frozen windows.”
- Obtain and validate missing order information from customers.
- Support order date research and reconciliation with internal teams.
- Attend production meetings and maintain customer dashboards and scorecards.
- Commercial Management
- Prepare and submit accurate quotes for peer or global review and customer approval.
- Gather required quote inputs (e.g., drawings, specifications) and monitor quote turnaround times.
- Resolve invoicing issues and support claims, credit memos, and pricing adjustments.
- Redline agreements (e.g., GPA, ISA) for renegotiation by Account Executives.
- May contribute to revenue forecasting and manage department budgets.
- Inventory Management
- Manage and report on consignment and PACE program inventory levels and OTD performance.
- Track and report customer-owned inventory usage and actual stock levels quarterly.
- Leadership and Strategic Execution
- May lead a team and serve as a role model for people management, conflict resolution, and influence management.
- Develop long-term, multi-level customer relationships.
- Drive site-level execution of strategic initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
- Communication and Escalation
- Serve as a key point of contact for customer order and commercial status updates.
- Escalate misalignments in order or commercial timelines to leadership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between customer expectations and internal capabilities.

- Strong organizational and analytical skills; ability to present data-driven business cases.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and MS Project.

- Excellent attention to detail, follow-through, and time management.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders.

- MBA or bachelor’s degree with PMP/PGMP certification.
- Successful completion of a negotiation certification course desired.
- 8 years’ experience in a semiconductor or similar industry
- Must have at least 5 years’ experience in positions of increasing responsibility.
- People management skills & experience desired.
