We’re partnering with a Series A robotics company building next generation AI powered automation systems designed for real world industrial environments. The company is developing a flexible robotics platform combining advanced perception infrastructure with modern AI systems to enable faster, lower cost deployment into production facilities.

This is a hands on perception engineering role focused on building the low level sensor pipeline powering real robotic systems in production. You’ll work across RGBD cameras, LiDARs, and perception infrastructure, ensuring high throughput sensor data is processed reliably and accurately for downstream AI and robotics systems.

What you’ll do:

• Build and maintain high-performance sensor pipelines processing multiple 30fps RGBD camera streams and 3D LiDAR data

• Process raw sensor data into usable representations including point clouds and perception outputs for operators and AI systems

• Own perception infrastructure end-to-end from sensor integration through to deployment on production robotic systems

• Debug complex hardware/software integration issues across sensors, robotics infrastructure, and perception systems

• Ensure high-quality sensor data is captured and stored correctly for downstream model training and evaluation

What we’re looking for:

• Experience building software for real robotic or autonomous systems with hands on hardware integration experience

• Strong engineering fundamentals in Python or C

• Experience working with physical robotics systems including cameras, LiDARs, robot arms, grippers, or similar hardware

• Experience with ROS, SLAM, point cloud processing, sensor fusion, or perception infrastructure

• Background from robotics, autonomous vehicles, defense tech, or similarly high reliability engineering environments preferred
