TITLE: Accounting Manager

SALARY: $125,000 - $170,000
The Accounting Manager oversees the accuracy and integrity of financial records, with responsibility for fixed assets and the general ledger. This role ensures timely close, GAAP compliance, and disciplined reporting in a complex defense environment. It also leads fixed asset and capital project accounting, including aircraft components, engine overhauls, and CIP, while partnering cross-functionally and maintaining strong accounting discipline. EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or other related field, required.
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger
- Management experience - leading teams in a corporate accounting environment
- Expert level proficiency utilizing Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, Power Query, Pivot Tables; Power Pivot/Macros preferred) with the ability to manage large asset datasets and reconciliations.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP.
- Must possess a high standard for data accuracy, documentation and version control.
- Must be able to travel within the US and internationally.
- Must be eligible for US Security Clearance, if required.
- Must be able to obtain a CAC (Common Access Card) and not be barred from any installation.
- CPA HIGHLY preferred.
Preferences:
- Familiarity with FAR, CAS, and government contracting compliance requirements.
- Experience managing CIP projects and complex asset capitalization scenarios.
