As an Embedded Insights & Analytics Consultant, you will work onsite with a major retail client, delivering customer analytics and AI-powered insights that help merchant teams make smarter, data-informed decisions across assortment, space, and pricing.

As an Embedded Insights & Analytics Consultant, you will work onsite with a major retail client, delivering customer analytics and AI-powered insights that help merchant teams make smarter, data-informed decisions across assortment, space, and pricing.
How will you make an impact?
- Trusted analytical partner: Build strong relationships with merchant stakeholders — buyers, category managers, and planners — to understand their planning cycles, constraints, and decision-making processes
- Insight delivery: Translate merchant questions into structured analytical approaches, deliver high-quality insights that bridge analysis to business application, and present recommendations that inspire action
- Platform mastery: Develop deep expertise in Q.Checkout, our self-serve insight platform, maximizing its capabilities to deliver actionable insights and identifying opportunities for enhancement
- Strategic value discovery: Collaborate with data science and merchandising analytics teams to identify merchant challenges that could benefit from advanced analytics such as space optimization, assortment clustering, price elasticity, and demand forecasting
- GenAI adoption: Embrace opportunities to explore and apply AI-powered solutions in retail analytics, staying at the forefront of how data and AI can transform merchant decision-making
- Retail domain knowledge: 2 years in retail merchandising, planning, category management, or an analytics role within a retailer or consumer packaged goods organization. Experience with retail/CPG data analytics and consumer insights companies would be highly regarded
- Analytical capability: Strong knowledge and experience analyzing customer, transaction, or sales data in a retail context, with the ability to translate business questions into structured analytical approaches
- Consultative communicator: Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain analytical concepts to non-technical audiences and present compelling recommendations to merchant-level stakeholders
- Commercial acumen: Ability to understand business needs and suggest the commercial impacts of different analytical solutions or approaches
- Agile performer: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and regularly changing environment, juggling multiple stakeholders and projects with strong attention to detail
- Collaborative mindset: Experience working within technical teams, managing client relationships, and contributing to a knowledge-sharing culture
