Users log in with their UISP credentials, see nearby free Wi-Fi routers on a map, and can connect to them around the city. Core flows work; we now need polish, refinement, and stability to get to production.EngagementType: Short-term contract (freelance)Commitment: ~13 weeks of focused work now, plus a follow-up bugfix sprint during testingStart: ASAPLocation: Remote (US/EU only), or on-site/hybrid in Boca RatonWhat youll doTake over an almost-ready React Native app and get it production-ready.Polish UX/UI and fix bugs in existing flows (auth, map, router connection).Implement small additional features around map UX, router connection, and account/settings.Harden authentication flows using existing UISP integration (error states, retries, timeouts).Improve error handling, logging, and basic analytics hooks for QA.Collaborate in short, focused iterations with clear handovers.Must-haveStrong experience with React Native for iOS and Android.Proven track record taking over existing codebases and shipping quickly.Experience with:Map-based interfaces (e.g. react-native-maps, Mapbox, or similar)Auth flows (tokens, sessions, secure storage)REST API integration and handling network edge casesSolid debugging skills and comfort running concentrated bugfix sprints.Clear communication and ability to work independently.Nice-to-haveFamiliarity with UISP / Ubiquiti or ISP/networking products.Experience with Wi-Fi/networking concepts (SSIDs, roaming, captive portals).Experience with common state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, etc.).TypeScript, Expo, or similar tooling.Prior work on consumer apps with map/location features.Application AdditionsPlease share:A short intro (who you are, where youre based).23 relevant apps youve shipped (links your role).Brief examples of take over and ship projects youve done.Availability for the initial 13 week sprint and the follow-up bugfix sprint.
