Position Overview
We are looking for a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Social Media Manager to join our team. This full-time, in-office position will be responsible for managing and executing social media strategies for multiple client accounts.
Our clients fall into two primary categories. Some require graphic-based social media content that is designed and scheduled in advance. Others require ongoing content creation, which involves visiting client locations to capture photos and videos that will be used for social media posts.
This role works closely with our videographer during content shoots, with the Social Media Manager responsible for capturing photography and assisting with creative direction during the shoot. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of design, basic photography skills, understand the importance of brand consistency, and be able to manage multiple client schedules simultaneously in a fast-paced agency environment.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Management
- Plan, create, and schedule social media content for multiple client accounts across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Google My Business
- Design graphic-based posts that align with each client’s branding, messaging, and marketing goals
- Write clear, engaging captions tailored to each client’s audience and platform
On-Site Content Creation
- Visit client locations to capture photography for social media content
- Collaborate with the videographer during content shoots to capture both photo and video assets
- Identify and capture engaging visual moments, products, environments, and team interactions that translate well on social media
Account & Calendar Management
- Maintain an organized posting schedule for approximately 20-30 client accounts
- Ensure social media content is scheduled 2 to 4 weeks in advance
- Communicate with clients for content approvals and revisions as needed
Collaboration & Strategy
- Work closely with the Quantifi Media design, video, and account management teams to ensure content aligns with overall marketing strategies
- Monitor post engagement and ensure scheduled content is publishing correctly
- Stay up to date with current social media trends, platform changes, and best practices
Requirements
- Experience managing social media accounts for multiple brands or clients
- Graphic design experience (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite preferred)
- Basic photography skills and comfort using DSLR or mirrorless cameras
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content best practices
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong written communication and caption writing abilities
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines simultaneously
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a marketing agency environment
- Familiarity with social media scheduling platforms (Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, etc.)
- Basic understanding of analytics and social media performance metrics
- Experience capturing content specifically for social media (Reels, Stories, short-form video)
