The Shipping & Receiving Intern supports the Shipping & Receiving team and Materials Management in maintaining stockroom inventories, receiving materials from suppliers, shipping product to customers, and kitting jobs for the Production team. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in supply chain, logistics, and warehouse operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
As An Intern, You Will:

The Shipping & Receiving Intern supports the Shipping & Receiving team and Materials Management in maintaining stockroom inventories, receiving materials from suppliers, shipping product to customers, and kitting jobs for the Production team. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in supply chain, logistics, and warehouse operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
As An Intern, You Will:
- Assist in preparing documentation, maintaining records, and coordinating logistics for product shipments
- Support scheduling and coordination of domestic and international freight forwarder transactions
- Help prepare shipping paperwork and complete shipping transactions in the ERP system
- Prepare boxes with appropriate labels for shipment as required
- Assist in creating pick worksheets (kits) for open job shop orders
- Receive raw material from vendors and help maintain stockroom inventories
- Participate in cycle counts as required
- Eagerness to learn ERP systems and accurately record transactions
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy in all job responsibilities
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position (lifting, standing for extended periods)
- Strong organizational skills and a task-driven work style
- Exposure to or interest in ITAR regulations is a plus
Education & Eligibility:
- Must be a U.S. Person
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a high school, vocational program, or post-secondary institution
- High School Diploma or equivalent required (or actively pursuing one)
- No prior experience required — a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are what matter most
