What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Business Analyst position at Quanterix?
- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to support sales performance, forecasting, and executive reporting
- Connect, integrate, and optimize Salesforce data sources for Tableau and other reporting tools
- Manage and update Salesforce data, including data validation, cleansing, and ongoing maintenance
- Partner with sales, operations, and leadership teams to gather requirements and define reporting needs
- Analyze sales trends, pipeline metrics, and performance KPIs to provide actionable insights
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across Salesforce and reporting platforms
- Document reporting logic, data definitions, and business rules
- Support enhancements to Salesforce reporting, dashboards, and workflows as needed
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies and resolve reporting issues efficiently
- Other duties as necessary
- Bachelor's degree in business, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role
- Advanced Tableau experience (performance optimization, Tableau Prep, advanced calculations)
- Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or equivalent)
- Fully remote
- Travel 10%
- Strong hands-on experience with Tableau (dashboard creation, calculated fields, data blending)
- Experience working with Salesforce, including reports, dashboards, and data management
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
- Solid understanding of sales metrics, pipelines, and CRM data structures
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience integrating Salesforce with data warehouses or BI tools
- Knowledge of ETL tools and data pipelines
- Experience supporting sales, marketing, or revenue operations teams
- Other duties as necessary
