Context :
Our client, a leading Global Markets firm, is seeking a FIX Onboarding & Production Support Analyst to join its Equities IT team. The role focuses on supporting high-touch and low-touch equity workflows, with a primary responsibility around the FIX Gateway and FIX client onboarding. The team partners closely with Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office to ensure smooth electronic trading operations.
Your role :
- Provide technical and functional support for electronic trading using FIX protocol (4.2/4.4) across multiple equity products.
- Collaborate with traders, clients, and vendors to manage FIX onboarding, configuration, and testing.
- Handle incident management and production support, ensuring stability and availability of FIX environments.
- Coordinate releases, enhancements, and configurations with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Work with global agile teams to design and implement solutions, from conception to delivery.
- Document procedures, provide training, and support knowledge sharing across trade support teams.
What We’re Looking For :
- Strong hands-on experience with FIX onboarding and production support.
- Solid knowledge of Linux environments, scripting (Bash, Python, Java), and system administration.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills with both traders and IT teams.
- Experience working in Front Office support within electronic trading environments.
- Familiarity with pre- and post-trade matching solutions is a plus.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and in a team.
Location: New York (Onsite for 6 months, then hybrid)
