IT Project Manager

We're currently seeking an IT Project Manager for our client. Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder. Interviews will be via Microsoft Teams video. Candidates that can work hybrid in Lexington, KY are highly preferred. A hybrid and remote work schedule are both options for this position. Candidates can expect to work 32-40 hours per week. A Bachelor’s Degree is required and an active PMP Certification is highly desired. Candidates must have at least three years of experience managing multiple smaller projects at the same time.

Required Skill Sets:

• Candidate must have impeccable communication skills that can provide real-time continuous updates without delay.
• At least three years of experience managing and meeting deadlines.
• At least three years of experience managing project milestones.
• Experience gathering and administering business requests.
• At least three years of experience managing projects in an Agile environment.
• At least three years of experience managing multiple smaller projects at the same time.
• Experience managing quick wins, with two-week sprints, with go-live management.
• At least three years of experience creating a project plan and project schedule.
• At least three years of experience managing timelines.
• Candidates must practice asking the right follow-up questions and working with IT staff from various backgrounds.
• Candidates will need to be able to provide direct communication without hesitation with the ability to decipher messaging.
• Ability to break down technical terms for non-technical staff and break down non-technical terms for technical staff.
• At least three years of experience managing projects with a financial, human resources, or CRM background.
• Perform as a Subject Matter Expert as needed.
• At least thee years of experience managing projects that included upgrades and/or migrations.
• Proficient and friendly with back-office skill sets.
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with payroll, HRS, internal finance, and/or budgets.
• At least three years of defining and managing a project scope.

Desired Skill Sets:

• An active PMP Certification.
• Knowledge, familiarity, or experience with Esri GIS, Esri GIS bus route mapping, building automated scripts, or providing communications with GIS staff.
• Knowledge, familiarity, or experience supporting PeopleSoft projects, creating configurations or benefits, moving functionalities from one area to another, or overseeing complete application rewrites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
