Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to provide both remote and onsite technical support to end users in the Somerset, KY area. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, hands-on desktop support experience, and excellent communication/customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities.
- Provide desktop support to end users both remotely and in person.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair hardware and software in a Windows-based environment.
- Diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral issues.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting.
- Document issues, resolutions, and support activities.
- Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain professional interactions with users.
- Lift and carry equipment and work in physically demanding or uncomfortable positions when necessary.
Required Qualifications.
- 1–2 years of hands-on desktop support experience preferred.
- Experience supporting Windows environments.
- Basic network troubleshooting knowledge.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to lift/carry heavy equipment and work in varying physical conditions.
Preferred Skills.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience supporting enterprise users in a professional environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests.
