Our client, a prosperous prop trading firm with headquarters in NYC, is currently recruiting for a Data Engineer Associate on our ElectronicTrading Strategies (ETS) desk. ETS focuses on identifying signals in the market and developing strategies to capture the opportunities those signals represent. As a Data Engineer Associate, you will…
- Collaborate w/ traders and researchers on feature engineering.
- Improve and Support a cutting edge, Big Data market research platform.
- Design complex relational data models.
- Implement ETL pipelines for the ingestion of market data and alternative data sets.
- Automate DAG deployment.
Requirements
- Undergraduate or other professional degree/certification in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, w/ a focus on Data Engineering.
- Programming languages: SQL, Python.
- Training/experience with database design and administration.
- Grit.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Goal-oriented.
