About this Role
Quanta Power Solutions is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support FP&A activities across our growing EPC portfolio. Partnering with accounting, project controls, and departmental leadership, you'll turn project and business data into insights that drive decisions. This position reports to the Director of Finance.
What You'll Do
- Analyze operating results and prepare variance analysis to inform business and operational decisions
- Assist with monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and financial reporting processes
- Develop and maintain financial models, reports, and dashboards
- Partner with department leaders to monitor financial performance and identify risks or trends
- Assist in preparing presentations and reporting materials for leadership
- Help improve reporting processes, tools, and data accuracy across the organization
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial controls
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, project finance, accounting, or related field
- Exposure to project-based financial reporting and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition
- Familiarity with monthly reporting processes such as closing activities and forecasting activities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in EPC, construction, infrastructure, industrial, or power generation industries
- Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards (JDE), Hubble, or similar platforms
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and/or FPAP (Financial Planning & Analysis Professional)
- Experience with data visualization and model design using Power BI, Databricks, or similar tools
- Understanding of financial reporting processes, project controls, cost tracking, or operational finance concepts
