Position: Sr. Electrical Engineer – EPC Projects
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with experience in 13.8 kV and 34.5 kV systems and a Professional Engineer (PE) license desired to join our EPC team supporting power generation, renewables, battery energy storage (BESS), data centers, substations, and transmission projects.
What You'll Do
- Develop conceptual layouts, preliminary designs, and cost studies for electrical systems.
- Perform voltage drop, load flow, fault current, arc flash, conduit/tray fill, and protective device coordination calculations.
- Size substations, motor control centers (MCCs), and other electrical equipment.
- Review vendor drawings and support interdisciplinary design integration.
- Support procurement documentation, construction packages, and field verification/commissioning.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Work on projects involving turbine generation, including wind, gas, steam, and other types of turbines, covering design, integration, and operational considerations.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering. PE license desired.
Minimum 7 years of industrial or EPC electrical engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of NEC and applicable industry standards.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required, 3D desirable), Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office.
Experience with ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower is a plus.
Excellent communication skills; able to work independently and with virtual teams.
Experience with 13.8 kV and 34.5 kV electrical systems.
