- Apply engineering principles to support product design, development, and manufacturing operations
- Review and verify drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Perform material testing (ASTM standards) and product inspections (incoming, in-process, and final)
- Conduct measurement system analysis (MSA), gage R&R, and process capability studies
- Analyze production data using SPC and drive improvements through Lean Six Sigma tools (DMAIC, FMEA, 8D, 5-Why, DOE)
- Support new product launches and PPAP submissions, including inspection plans, test criteria, and validation activities
- Lead quality initiatives, including audits, supplier quality management, corrective actions, equipment calibration, and team training
- Two-year Associate Degree in quality assurance-related science and/or two years’ experience as a QA Technician
- Proficient with measurement and test equipment (hand tools, gages, optical/electronic instruments, and inspection systems)
- Strong knowledge of quality principles, including audits, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and apply statistical quality control methods (e.g., control charts)
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and Minitab, with strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Detail-oriented problem solver with experience in production environments; safety training (Lockout/Tagout) and forklift certification a plus
