- Set up and operate punch press equipment per job specifications (single-hit, progressive dies) Job Responsibility.
- Load metal blanks or coils, align dies and feeds
- Perform basic machine adjustments to maintain part quality.
- Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and inspection plans
- Monitor press performance and conduct in-process quality checks
- Complete accurate production records and downtime logs.
- Maintain safe work practices and use required PPE
- Assist with die changes and minor preventative maintenance
- Responsible for attending work on time and for scheduled hours each day.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
- Prior punch press or stamping experience
- Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
- Ability to read blueprints and operate calipers, micrometers, and other gauges
- Forklift experience or certification Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and stand for a full shift
