- Operate silicone mixer, coiling workstation, and butyl mixer.
- Pre-weigh and prepare raw materials including minors, sieve, and silicone ingredients.
- Obtain/maintain forklift certification.
- Follow batch card instructions as written.
- Input/scan raw materials for batching/inventory cycle counts.
- Properly operate and maintain all equipment, tools, and testing apparatus.
- Follow all work instructions.
- Perform specific testing requirements on mixed batches.
- Properly document batch records with lot numbers in the Que.
- Perform silicone changeovers and end of run cleanouts.
- Participate in safety layered audits.
- Communicate with all co-workers, leads, manager in an effective/timely manner.
- Maintain and uphold the work area in compliance with 6S Standards
- Follow all Cardinal Safety Rules and policies; notify supervisor of any existing or potential safety issues.
- Perform the above duties in addition to any other requests deemed necessary by Manager
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 55lbs. on an infrequent basis.
- With stand extended periods of standing, walking, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, use of stairs and ladders.
- Work hours established by department management including 8-12 hour shifts as needed to customer demands.
