What Success Looks Like
- Basic mechanical and fabrication skills with the ability to complete basic PMs
- Understands fluid power basics and can integrate them into machines
- Ability to troubleshoot effectively and uses correct measurement tools to identify problems
- Has basic knowledge of industrial controls and wiring practices
- Has understanding of PLC, HMI, and variable speed drive programming and installation
- Is meticulous in maintaining existing documentation and developing new documents as needed
- Can perform basic fabrication and maintenance with instruction
- Minimum of 2 years of on-the-job experience in a related field or a 2-year technical degree
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficient in using maintenance tools and equipment.
