Job Description

The Comptrolle is responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the Department of Defense (DoD). This includes budgeting, accounting, financial management, and internal controls. The Comptroller ensures compliance with legal and ethical business practices, manages finance and accounting staff, and provides support to facility divisions. They are also responsible for conducting internal control audits and ensuring the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports. The Comptroller plays a critical role in maintaining the fiscal integrity and compliance framework of the Pentagon and the DoD as a whole.
