Senior ERP Systems Administrator

Position Overview

Power your Future with Qualus as a Senior Deltek Administrator to serve as the functional owner of our Deltek ERP system, supporting both finance and project operations in a complex, multi-entity environment. This is a hands-on role responsible for system configuration, project accounting workflows, billing operations, reporting, and day-to-day system performance.

This position is best suited for someone who has deep, practical experience working within Deltek, actively configuring the system, troubleshooting issues, and supporting financial processes such as billing, rate management, and month-end activities. You will play a critical role in ensuring data accuracy, maintaining system integrity, and enabling the business to operate efficiently.

The role requires a balance of technical system expertise and strong accounting/finance knowledge, along with the ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and IT. You will also support integrations, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts across the platform.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support the Deltek system, including configuration, security, and user access
• Troubleshoot system issues, resolve errors, and coordinate escalations as needed
• Support project setup, including projects, phases, tasks, and organizational structures
• Maintain master data, rate tables, billing terms, and financial configurations
• Support billing operations, including invoice processing and issue resolution
• Develop and maintain reports/queries; troubleshoot reporting discrepancies
• Monitor integrations and data flows; perform imports and resolve data issues
• Support month-end processes, reconciliations, and recurring system activities
• Ensure data integrity, audit readiness, and adherence to internal controls
• Create documentation, SOPs, and provide end-user training and support
• Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements
• Partner with Finance, Operations, and IT on system changes and initiatives

Qualifications

• 10 years of ERP systems experience, with Deltek administration (required)
• Hands-on experience with Deltek configuration (security, projects, billing, rates, reporting)
• Strong understanding of project accounting and financial operations
• Experience supporting billing processes, reporting, and reconciliations
• Ability to troubleshoot system and data issues independently
• Experience in multi-company and/or multi-currency environments
• Familiarity with integrations, data imports, and system workflows
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Experience in engineering, consulting, or professional services environments preferred
• Exposure to reporting/financial systems (e.g., Hyperion) is a plus
