Assists project managers with securing approval for permits and licenses, budgets materials, contractors, and other resources.

Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of assigned interconnection projects, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulations, and laws.
- Supports the interconnection Project Managers by assisting in tracking project milestones, facilitating communications between internal teams and customers, and ensuring program documentation and reporting are accurate and up to date.
- Monitors application status, updates project trackers, and flags milestone delays or risk to the Project Manager.
- Assist in responding to customer inquiries, preparing status updates, and coordinating meetings across internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintains project files, tracks regulatory deadlines, and assist in preparing reports, and agreement packages.
- Compiles program metrics, updates dashboards, and supports leadership reporting and project performance.
- Manage the development and evaluation process for bid documents related to engineering, design, and construction.
- Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment for project execution.
- Ensure thorough documentation and completion of all project phases.
- Independently manage smaller projects, demonstrating proficiency in the full Project Lifecycle and project controls requirements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferred); Business, related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in electric utility interconnection construction or project management experience
- Requires knowledge in the theoretical and practical application of project management technique and tools including project management software.
- Requires knowledge of design and construction of electric interconnection projects
- Effective written and oral communication skills
