The role requires strong expertise in SAS development, Oracle database integration, Linux troubleshooting, and SDLC best practices.Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in SAS architecture and backend batch processing.Develop, modify, and maintain SAS macros to support change requests and system enhancements.Write and maintain code to synchronize data between SAS datasets and Oracle databases.Troubleshoot production issues by analyzing SAS logs, macros, and datasets on Linux servers.Differentiate between data-related and code-related issues and implement corrective solutions.Understand Oracle table structures and ensure seamless integration with SAS processes.Follow SDLC best practices to deliver modular, well-documented, and error-free code.Maintain and update technical documentation using enterprise documentation standards.Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code deployments and updates.
