School Adjustment Counselor
Start Date: January 5, 2026
Responsibilities include:
•Provide school counseling services in individual, group, and classroom settings to general education students, as well as students with IEP’s and 504 plans
•Provide services to address the social and emotional barriers to student achievement and in accordance with intervention, special education and 504 plans
•Provide services to help develop age-appropriate skills and promote social, emotional, and academic growth in children in the school setting
•Evaluate student skills and write reports to interpret/summarize findings
•Work collaboratively with Special Education staff in the social and emotional classroom
•Work collaboratively with General Education staff to support the implementation of our school-wide social and emotional learning curriculum
•Attend meetings as assigned
•Strong data-collection skills to help to inform decisions for students
