We are seeking a motivated Pest & Wildlife Sales Inspector who can inspect properties, identify pest and wildlife concerns, develop effective solutions, prepare accurate estimates, and convert qualified opportunities into profitable sales.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in pest control, wildlife control, construction, home-services sales, property inspections, roofing, restoration, or a related field.

Position Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed interior and exterior inspections of residential and commercial properties.
- Identify pest activity, wildlife entry points, structural vulnerabilities, damage, sanitation issues, and contributing conditions.
- Inspect foundations, attics, basements, crawlspaces, garages, rooflines, siding, soffits, fascia, vents, decks, sheds, and utility penetrations.
- Take clear photographs, measurements, and inspection notes.
- Recommend appropriate pest-control, wildlife-removal, exclusion, trapping, monitoring, repair, termite, tick, mosquito, and recurring-service solutions.
- Clearly explain inspection findings, service options, pricing, warranties, limitations, and customer responsibilities.
- Prepare accurate and complete estimates using approved company pricing and service templates.
- Obtain customer authorization, signatures, deposits, and payments when required.
- Maintain an organized sales pipeline and follow up on open estimates.
- Document customer conversations, objections, follow-up attempts, and sales activity.
- Provide the scheduling and operations teams with complete job details.
- Coordinate with technicians and management on large or complex projects.
- Remain available to answer questions regarding sold work and approved scopes.
- Assist with change orders when additional conditions are discovered.
- Represent QualityPro professionally at every appointment.
Compensation
This position includes a guaranteed $3,000 monthly base pay plus progressive tiered commissions on eligible collected net sales.
Monthly Commission Tiers
- 2% on the first $40,000
- 3% on sales from $40,001 to $60,000
- 4% on sales from $60,001 to $80,000
- 5% on sales from $80,001 to $100,000
- 6% on sales above $100,000
Each percentage applies only to the sales within that tier.
Commission eligibility is subject to the company’s written compensation plan, approved pricing, proper documentation, completed services, and collected customer payments.
Performance Expectations
Performance will be evaluated based on:
- Monthly collected sales
- Estimate close rate
- Gross profit and pricing discipline
- Average sale amount
- Lead-response time
- Estimate follow-up
- Documentation accuracy
- Customer satisfaction
- Cancellation, credit, and refund rates
- Quality of job handoff to operations
- Attendance, reliability, and professionalism
- Compliance with company procedures and core values
Qualifications
- Previous pest control, wildlife control, home-services sales, construction, roofing, restoration, inspection, or related experience is preferred.
- Strong consultative sales and closing skills.
- Ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Familiarity with residential construction and common structural entry points.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prepare detailed estimates and explain technical findings clearly.
- Comfortable using CRM software, mobile applications, email, text messaging, and digital photography.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass required background and motor-vehicle checks.
- Ability to obtain and maintain applicable pest-control or wildlife licenses.
- Dependable, organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
Physical Requirements
- Walk properties and uneven terrain.
- Climb stairs and use ladders when trained and authorized.
- Enter accessible attics, basements, crawlspaces, garages, and other inspection areas.
- Bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and stand for extended periods.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Lift and carry inspection equipment weighing approximately 30 pounds.
- Wear required personal protective equipment.
- Safely operate a company vehicle.
Schedule and Service Area
This is a full-time position based in Hawthorne, New York, with travel throughout Westchester County and surrounding service areas.
The normal schedule is Monday through Friday. Occasional early-morning, evening, weekend, or emergency appointments may be required based on customer needs and seasonal demand.
