Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Drill Rig Assistant to join our
team in the water well industry located in Ault, CO.
The ideal candidate must have a strong mechanical background and experience with various drilling Methods (mud and air rotary). As a Drillers assistant, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and operation of drilling equipment and ensure the safe and efficient execution of drilling projects.
CDL is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Operate drilling rigs and associated equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on drilling equipment, including and support equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of drilling operations, including depth, and other relevant data.
- The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment and a solid understanding of drilling operations.
Requirements
- Prior experience working on water well rigs preferred. but not necessary.
- Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, forklifts, or water trucks.
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery and pipeline systems.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction safety compliance.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or ability to obtain one; experience with tanker trucks is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, standing, walking, and operating machinery for extended periods.
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in oil & gas or related industries preferred. Pay: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
