Pay & Schedule

  • Starting Pay: $17.00/hour

Quality Welding & Fabrication is looking for motivated individuals to join our Welder Trainee Program. This position is designed for entry-level welding candidates who have basic welding education, training, or MIG welding experience, but limited shop or production experience.

If you are dependable, eager to learn, and ready to build a long-term career in welding and fabrication, we would like to meet you.

About the Welder Trainee Program

Our Welder Trainee Program provides hands-on training, coaching, and structured development to help new welders grow into productive, independent welders.

Trainees may receive performance reviews throughout the training period. Wage increases are not automatic or guaranteed and are based on demonstrated performance, including attendance, safety, quality, productivity, skill development, ability to follow direction, and overall contribution to the team.

What You'll Do

  • Perform MIG welding using shop jigs and fixtures
  • Weld parts and assemblies to meet quality standards
  • Read basic shop drawings, measurements, and tape measures
  • Use hand tools and basic fabrication equipment
  • Inspect completed welds for consistency and quality
  • Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Learn from experienced welders and shop leaders

  • Welding school, welding certification, or basic MIG welding experience preferred

  • Ability to read a tape measure and follow basic instructions
