Duties
- Install, remove, and replace tires with precision using hand tools and power tools
- Perform tire repairs, rotations, balancing, and alignments to optimize vehicle performance
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes and basic inspections
- Diagnose automotive issues using automotive diagnostics equipment and mechanical knowledge
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks including brake service, suspension checks, and fluid replacements
- Use heavy lifting techniques safely to handle tires and other automotive parts during service procedures
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain services performed and recommend additional maintenance or repairs
Skills
- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a focus on tire service and vehicle maintenance
- Strong mechanic experience with automotive diagnostics and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
- Knowledge of alignment procedures, oil change processes, and general automotive service standards
