Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow removal Operator to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining safe and accessible sidewalks during winter weather conditions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate snow removal equipment effectively. This position requires working in various weather conditions. We service 3 towns Aurora, Batavia and Geneva. Must be reliable and have reliable transportation.
Duties
- Operate snow blower and shovel equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and driveways of snow and ice.
- Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to changing situations.
- Perform pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain clear communication with team members regarding snow removal progress and challenges.
- maintain areas as required for effective snow removal.
- be able to work long hours during snow storm day and evening
Skills
- Proficient in operating snow blower machinery and other related equipment.
- Familiarity with power tools and landscape maintenance practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during snow removal operations.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in adverse weather conditions.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
