- Perform & document HM Inspections including Internal, External, Leakage, and thickness examinations on MC-306, MC-307, DOT-406, and DOT-407 tankers.
- Perform & document Method 27 EPA Leak Tests on MC-306 & DOT-406 fuel tankers
- Perform & document Pressure Re-Tests on MC-306, MC-307, DOT-406, and DOT-407 tankers.
- Perform required repairs on various valves, vents, and pump equipment
- Maintain all testing equipment required for Tank inspections and testing
- Maintain all training as required by USDOT
- Maintain all documentation as outlined by USDOT regulations.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Perform preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and repairs on all forms of trailers as needed.
- Represents Quality Truck Care Center in a professional manner, remaining friendly and courteous in all customer and coworker interactions.
- Wears proper personal protective equipment to protect from injury.
- Keeps work areas clean and free of clutter.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Full Certification as a CT Inspector (a minimum of 3 years of documentable experience in a qualified facility & a High School diploma).
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of methods required to perform Tank Inspections following current USDOT regulations and standards.
- Working knowledge and understanding of the safe and proper use of various testing equipment, gauges, and measuring devices required to properly complete tanker inspections.
- Valid Driver License; CDL is preferred but not required.
