We are looking for a detail-oriented, compassionate and energetic Personal Care Assistant who will help serve a clients living in the Albany and Camilla, Georgia areas. The primary purpose of this position is to provide personalized care based on the client's specific needs, and also includes meal preparation as well as household tasks. The ideal Personal Care Assistant candidate excels at communicating with clients, has a background in home care and is capable of working independently and being flexible in a client's home environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living; assist with feeding, bathing, and dressing.
- Alert other staff about clients' changes in status as well as behavior changes.
- Comply with client health care plans.
- Demonstrate compassion and understanding to clients and their family members.
- Deal effectively with difficult clients and their families.
- Follow health department regulations such as completing required forms and presenting necessary documents.
- Perform clerical duties such as taking messages and answering phones.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
