Role Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Title Agent to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience in title searching, abstracting, and real estate transactions, but we are willing to train a motivated individual who demonstrates a strong ability to learn and work in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough searches of public records to determine the legal status of a property, including any liens or encumbrances.
Analyze and interpret legal documents related to property transactions, such as deeds, mortgages, and trust documents.
Prepare detailed title reports and abstracts, highlighting any issues that need resolution before a property transaction can proceed.
Coordinate with real estate agents, lenders, and attorneys to ensure all necessary documents are obtained and accurately processed.
Participate in the resolution of title discrepancies and provide support in clearing title issues.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
Ensure all title and abstracting services are delivered in a timely and professional manner, adhering to company standards and client expectations.
Must be willing to provide excellent customer service to all customers at all times.
Build and maintain productive relationships with customers, take responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Help create a positive experience for all parties in the transaction
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is a plus.
Experience in title abstracting, real estate, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Proficiency in using title software and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
High standard of performance for self and others, monitors work to ensure freedom from errors, omissions or defects.
Able to handle stressful situations while maintaining a calm demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self starter with the ability to work independently while also being a team player.
