Role Description The Escrow Closing Agent is a full-time, on-site role based in Bismarck, ND. This role is responsible for coordinating and completing real estate closings, including preparing closing documents, balancing settlement statements, and ensuring all escrow instructions are followed. The Escrow Closing Agent will manage funds disbursement, verify information and collaborate closely with lenders, real estate agents, and customers to resolve issues. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing documents for accuracy, obtaining necessary signatures and notarizations, explaining closing documents to customers, and providing clear, professional communication throughout the closing process. The Escrow Closing Agent will also maintain accurate records, comply with regulatory and company policies, and support a smooth, efficient closing experience.
Qualifications
- Strong real estate knowledge and hands-on experience in escrow procedures and closings.
- Experience preferred but willing to train the right individual.
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Active Notary commission or eligibility to obtain one within a defined timeframe.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
- Proficiency with standard office software and closing/title production systems.
- Understanding of real estate transactions, lending practices, and regulatory requirements is preferred.
- Prior experience in a title company, law firm, or real estate office is beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, legal studies, or a related field is a plus.
