What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Project Manager position at Quality Theorem?
Essential Functions:
- Manage multiple concurrent high-complexity customer projects with full autonomy over scope, schedule, budget, and risk decisions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value or complex client accounts, owning the executive delivery relationship throughout the project lifecycle
- Independently translate client Statements of Work and work orders into comprehensive project plans with clearly defined deliverables and milestones
- Directly supervise and develop a team of Project Coordinators and Project Managers, including performance management, coaching, and hiring
- Proactively manage client escalations, change orders, and complex expectation management scenarios
- Oversee project financials including spend-to-date, forecasted spend, budget burn rate, and billing accuracy
- Create andmaintainrobust project controls: action item lists, risk logs, issue logs, change control, and decision logs
- Serve as a senior escalation resource for project-level issues and client situations requiring experienced judgment
- Drive structured project and operations meetings; ensure decisions and action items are clearly communicated and executed
- Contribute to process improvement,methodologydevelopment, and best practice documentation
- Mentor PM I and PM II team members, sharingexpertiseand supporting professional development across the team
- Partner with Program Managers on cross-functional alignment and program-level initiatives as needed
