Travel Wound Care Provider

Quality Surgical Management (QSM) has been a leader in bedside and clinical wound care for more than 30 years. As our organization continues to grow, we are seeking a NP, or PA looking to fulfill a travel role and join our team as a highly supported, fully autonomous Travel Wound Care Providers.

If you want a role that does not include no night rounds, no weekend rounds, no on‑call, unmatched travel support, and a company that treats you like family—not a number—this is the career move you've been waiting for.

✨ What Makes This Travel Role Different From All Others

✨ Unmatched Travel Perks (Truly Industry‑Leading)

QSM offers a comprehensive, stress‑free travel package:

  • Mileage reimbursement beyond 20 miles each day or Company‑paid rental provided
  • All hotel stays fully covered by QSM
  • Daily food stipend while traveling
  • All travel arrangements handled by a designated travel scheduler—you simply show up and focus on patient care

✨ Predictable Lifestyle: No rounds overnights, No rounds over the Weekends, and No On‑Call

Enjoy true work–life balance while still earning strong compensation.

✨ Full Clinical Autonomy—Without the Isolation

Unlike travel roles where you work independently with minimal support:

  • You maintain full autonomy in the field
  • Leadership is always one call away
  • You have continuous access to clinical resources
  • You’re part of a genuine family‑oriented culture

✨ Elite Training and Ongoing Career Growth

Typical travel clinicians get a short onboarding period or agency paperwork.
At QSM, you receive:

  • 1 weeks paid at‑home didactic training
  • 4 weeks paid field training with expert clinicians
  • Continued education throughout your tenure
  • This level of investment is rare in travel roles.

✨ Maximize Your Earnings with Billing Support

Other wound‑care providers frequently emphasize payment packages, but not documentation support.
QSM offers:

  • A skilled billing team ensuring your documentation supports the highest compliant earnings
  • Reduced administrative burden compared to typical travel contracts

Role Responsibilities

As a Travel Wound Care Provider, you will:

  • Cover vacant territories, provider absences, and new facility start‑ups
  • Serve as the initial face of QSM when opening new territories
  • Travel across the state —sometimes for a single day, sometimes a full week
  • Perform bedside surgical wound care
  • Provide in‑person assessments and excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with facility staff and internal QSM support teams

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed NP (Adult/Geriatric/Family), or PA
  • Willingness to travel statewide by car and air
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable transportation (QSM provides rental vehicles for travel assignments)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work onsite with patients
  • Comfortable with varying schedules depending on assignment needs
  • Proficiency in English
  • Basic ability to push/pull equipment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Wound care experience (helpful but not required)
  • 2 years of clinical experience (new grads welcome)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365

✨ Compensation & Benefits

QSM offers a fully loaded package that surpasses most competing travel roles:

  • Base salary bonus structure
  • Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with employer contributions after 90 days
  • PTO
  • Malpractice coverage
  • Cell phone reimbursement
  • All travel and lodging costs covered
  • Food stipend vehicle coverage for travel assignments
  • All supplies provided
  • All state licenses covered except for your home state

You’re not just another traveler—you’re part of the QSM family.
