X-Ray Tech needed for a Medical Center in Santa Monica, California.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday. Shifts can be within the timeframe of 6:00am - 5:00pm.
$55.00 per hour; Thirteen-week contract assignment.
Required Qualifications:
• 2 years of experience in an outpatient medical office setting
• Graduate of an accredited X-Ray program
• Current X-ray technologist certification in CA
• Knowledge of medical terminology
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with CS Link/Epic
• Experience with digital X-Ray
Job Duties:
• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures, positioning patients on the examining table and adjusting equipment to obtain optimum views of specific body area (Chest, Extremities and Torso-Skeletal) as requested by physician
• Able to assist the attending medical provider during examinations and minor surgeries
• Perform a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment for the radiological diagnosis
