4 days a week, 12-hour shifts. Day Shifts & Night Shifts Available.

Job Summary:
The General ICU Float Nurse will provide critical care to a diverse patient population within the Intensive Care Unit. This role involves continuous monitoring, administering treatments, and working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and be able to handle the fast-paced, high-pressure environment of the ICU.
Job Duties:
- Provide intensive care to patients with acute medical conditions, including respiratory failure, sepsis, and multi-organ dysfunction.
- Administer medications and treatments specific to complex medical conditions.
- Monitor and adjust life support systems, ensuring that patients receive the correct level of care.
- Work closely with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including developing and adjusting care plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing updates on the patient's condition and explaining treatment options.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Medical ICU setting.
- Strong knowledge of complex medical conditions and treatments.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
